Daniel Mitchell is a junior at Richard Montgomery High School, Maryland. Founding Alpha Power in 2021, he believes all music should be created with a message and a purpose. He started his musical experience on piano and continues to play to this day. Since then, he has strengthened his interest and passion for music and organized community events for a group of student musicians to perform for senior living homes. In addition to playing music, he has completed all the levels of the MSMTA music theory tests, passing with honor scores and won numerous awards for competing in piano competitions. Daniel hopes to share his enthusiasm for music, inspiring others and guide them through their journey using the experiences that he has had. In life, you have to own who you are and push to make things happen. Daniel does just that and continues to tirelessly hone his skills for a craft he so loves.

James Mu is a junior at Thomas S. Wootton High School, Maryland. Having joined Alpha Power in 2021, he has been working hard to make music more accessible for everyone. He started his musical experience with the piano and cello but has since moved on to mainly using electronic DAWs. Since his first experiences with music, he has gotten more involved by working with local artists and connecting with bigger music creators to learn more about creating music in the modern age. James hopes to promote music creation as another art form that is just as easy as playing an instrument or creating art projects and to inspire a new generation of musical artists.
